Conflict reporting
Since starting with TRT World, I've travelled around the world working in some of the most dangerous areas covering major conflicts which have had a huge impact on world events.
I've reported on the campaign to retake Mosul from Daesh/ISIS in 2016-17, the Azerbaijan-Armenia War in 2020, and most recently from Jerusalem and the Gaza border at the outbreak of the conflict between Israel and Hamas. I've also covered what have been labelled 'frozen conflicts' such as the situation on Cyprus and have received hostile environment training.
